Department of Agribusiness Management
The department offers essential skills, knowledge and competencies necessary to efficiently manage a competitive agribusiness industry and address emerging trends and issues in the global agriculture and food system.
Graduates of the programme will support the nation to achieve commercialization of the agricultural sector, and food and nutrition security for all, as envisaged in the Food Security and Manufacturing pillars of the government’s Big-Four Agenda. They will also play an essential role in contributing to the realization of Kenya’s Vision 2030, UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and Agenda 2063 of the African Union, through fostering sustainable agricultural development.
